I feel like I haven’t eaten in 3 days! I keep passing out 😂
The Day’s Events
I had some trouble sleeping in the night. I probably slept at 1am and woke up at 6:30am. Also I think I woke up a few times in the night as well. Not very good sleep, but I woke up just fine at 6:30am. After my morning reading of emails, checking instagram, checking on messages, measuring my body stats, I felt pretty tired.
I also finished up the podcast S-Town. Very well told story of a complicated interesting crazy man. I have a lot of respect for people who are accomplished in their field and I love stories of complex human psyche. So I very much enjoyed the story of John B. McLemore, the eccentric horologist who is a depressed crazy genius. Check it out if you haven’t already.
I did accomplish one thing that day. I am currently in Manila with a tourist visa. My plan is to somehow stay 2 years here. Well, the default tourist visa is good for 30 days, but apparently all you have to do is go to the Bureau of Immigration and fill out a form to request staying longer and pay 2230 PHP ($45) to extend your visa for another 29 days. The good news is that a Bureau of Immigration was only a 10 minute walk away.
So I got my daily sun and exercise by walking to the Bureau. When I got back at about 3pm, I was tired! I passed out from like 3 – 6pm, then my partner came home. I woke up a bit to talk to her and I think i passed out again from 7 – 8pm. Then we officially went to sleep at about 10:30pm.
Water Fasting Events
- Mainly i was extremely tired today. I didn’t sleep at night that well and that may have contributed.
- My right eye, which is one of my conditions i’m hoping to heal wasn’t feeling that good that day. I think I’ve been over using it on day 1 and day 2, trying to use the computer too much to write my blog entries. So i’m gonna cut down on some computer time.
- I’m mesmerized by youtube food videos. Particularly Japanese street food videos. I mean i’m usually interested in them in general, but during the fast, they are truly amazing. It looks soooo good. I can’t believe it’s only been 3 days. >_<
- I only drank about 2.5 L of water today. I’ma try to pump those numbers up. I’m also running out of water. I hope the water people deliver, because I don’t know if I can carry that much water home. Also I feel bad to the taxi driver to take me like 4 blocks.
- My mouth tastes terrible. My partner also mentioned my bad breath. I feel bad for her as it appears i’m just staying home, wasting time, looking like a bum, and I have bad breath.
- I dropped another 2 pounds bringing me down to 165 from 170 in 2 days. At least the weight is coming down. I would personally like to be 150lbs, but i do hear you generally gain back a lot of the weight after fasting. I will try to incorporate more working out to maintain some of the weight loss.
